I started to get interested into Artificial Intelligence (IA) when I begun university. I had the opportunity to learn more about IA and pattern recognition in images during two NSERC training programs. Both theses experiences were realized within the LIVIA, at ETS University.

While studying for the master, I improved my knowledge about learning, prediction and classfication algorithms. I also started to direct my research towards ecological ends, inspired by a collaborative project from the Universite de Montreal's Complex Systems Laboratory

During 2005, I discovered many open projects for machine learning development. I started to use Weka and developed classes for the project. A bit more recently, I found the MLOSS project.

During my research, I developed algorithms for Genetic Programming, Feature Extraction and produced many Databases, all distributed under open licence. I also contributed to many Scientific writings.
